In early 2019 APHA joined forces with the Society for AIDS in Africa to contribute towards an evidence-based advocacy campaign to focus attention on the critical resource gap that will need to be filled if we are meet the UNAIDS 2020 and 2030 targets in sub-Saharan Africa.

This campaign is informed by an Investment Scorecard drawn up by AIDS Accountability International, to track country investments in HIV treatment and prevention and applies principles of transparency and accountability to inform policy, identify resource gaps and make a case for sustained and increased investment in ending the HIV epidemic in Africa.
